Appendicitis 2years 4 months ago still problems bothering me

just over 2 years ago went to hospital with servere pain was examined and told i had food poisoning sent home with various medication 2 days later was in unbearable agony went to my doctors he told me i had Appendicitis he told me to wait in waiting room called me back in said ambulance was on way surgeon was waiting for me at hospital had operation 9.30pm at night was in hospital a week was told appendix had burst and i was a very poorly man its what they call dirty operation as the theatre can not be used after untill really cleaned when in hospital my body was going red all over and my body legs seemed to swell with fluid i was put on intrevenous antibiotics which seemed to clear , but during my stay the nurse came one day hung more intrevenous i presumed more antibiotic thought nothing of it 15 minutes later she came back took it down never said nothink 10 minutes later i rung buzzer to see what why a nurse came said she would find out 10 minutes later the sister came round and she said i had been givern somebody elses medication and she had to contact my consultant and let him no before anythink could be said , they said it should not have a lasting effect . anyway next day consultant came round and said was considering taking me back to theatre as he thought i still had rubbish in me ect , anyway week later they discharged me but on discharge consultant said he thought some think not quiet right and if i thought some think wrong get straight back to a+e to be honest could not wait to get out of there.


now 2 years 4 months i still have problems my stomach sticks out right side it hurts it goes hard and swells up seen my doctor after and he said thought was not to bad , but examined me lying down so he never really seen it, but said if you go back in now you would be in a mess not been back since keep wondering if to go back to hospital or not but its not an emergency but was told could take upto 2 years to heal go back right i have a long cut on my stomach about 8 inches WHAT SHOULD I DO IS IT THE RESULTS I SHOULD EXPECT MY AGE 54 WITH HEART PROBLEMS ECT.? KEEP GETTING PAINS DOWN IN RIGHT LEG WHEN LIFT LEG TO GET DRESSED I CAN FEEL SOMETHINK LIKE HEAVY IN MY STOMACH.
