Epiploic Appendagitis Experience

I was sick for a couple of days with diarrhea and then I all of a sudden got this pain in my lower left abdomen.
The pain would not subside so I went to the ER and they did a CT scan and they told me I had Epiploic Appendagitis and they told me there was no treatment for it.
Just rest, fluids, pain killers, and stool softeners. I am in constant pain and don't know what to do?
Nothing helps going to see my primary care physician and see what can be done!
