I am having a pulse-like sharp pain in the left side of my stomach. I do smoke and sometimes drink a lot, but i have GERD too.
I never had the pain as often as i do now.
Also it feels like there is a rash but in the inside of my stomach; kind of wierd.
I am going to the doctor soon but just wanted some feedback.
Thanks
William (USA)
Hi William,
Thanks for posting your query, and I am sorry to learn of your "weird" pulse-like left sided abdominal pain.
Yo said it is happening more frequently than normal. I take it that you have been having this pain for sometime then. How old are you? Any change in the frequency of your going to the loo to poop? Any change in the color of your stool, or any feelings of incomplete emptying? What about your appetite...any decreased appetite or unintended weight loss recently?
Any history of kidney stone in the past or family history of kidney stones?
The two top possible diagnosis or cause of the pulse-like left side abdominal pain you describe could be:
Constipation or
Kidney stones
I am pleased to know that you already have an appointment with your doctor. See him / her and I am sure the picture will become clearer.
Hi, i started to experience the pain for one week now but am on diet to reduce the amount of insulin in my sister so i've cut weight. I go to loo once a day in the morning before even taking a bathe and poo is most time smelly, attimes green sumetimesits yellowish. please advise
