left side stomach pain and left leg pain

Hi!
I am 25 years old, I am an asthmatic, I also suffe from hayfever....
I have been experiencing left side stomach pain which gets very severe at times, and when the pain arises I press that part very hard and it starts feeling better...very rarely I get nausea with stomach pains and some times it also gives me a back ache and left knee ache along with the stomach pain, its mostly on the part between the left side of the navel and the left rib,
please tel me what could be the possible reason, also I had been to my doc and she prescribes me Omeprazole and said to see if this helps, and to my surprise it really did help which I took for 3-6 months but now she says she cannot prescribe it any more to me because it could have side effects, and also because I am trying to get pregnant....
please let me know what to do...please reply....tc
