My experience with this condition called epiploic appendagitis.

I was diagnosed with ea.
Here's my question though - my white blood cell count was through the roof.
I was told it was an appendicitis and prepare for surgery but doc waited for the CT scan.
She was shocked to discover that it was not my appendix but ea.
Was never told why my white b cells were so high. Wasn't told much other than they (dr's, nurses) never heard of it. Pain was crazy the 2nd day. A solid 9 on a 10 scale.
It's been a full week and has gotten better everyday. Now I just feel bloated and a little crampy. Hope it doesn't return!
