This pain has been lasting several days. It started on the upper right side of my abdomen then is now for the past two days in my lower right abdomen. It is worse with movement.
I have had night sweats.
It's becoming so painful I can barely stand it. It is also radiating down into my thigh at times. I had a hysterectomy but still have my ovaries.
What could this be? My appetite has been ok. I had the runs a few days ago and went yesterday and had a difficult time going do to the pain. It seems to also hurt more when my bladder is full.
Please help with any suggestions.
Hi Nicole,
The pain you've described sounds like one of those types of abdominal pain that would require you to see a doctor as soon as possible. The possibilities are quite a few, and without a doctor's examination and probaly scans, it would not be easy to put one's finger on the cause.
I am particularly concered because of the night sweats you describe and the severity as well. It could be anything from an acute appendicitis to ruptured ovarian cyst or psoas abscess or even kidney infection. You see why you would require a face to face consulation?
I hope you do so as soon as possible, and sure you will be okay.
Many thanks for using our free online consulation service.
