sharp pain in my lower abdomen

for about4 days now, whenever I cough, I have a sharp pain in my lower abdomen. This morning when I woke up, the pain worsened when I tried to get out of bed. The pain is now also on the left side directly across from the right side. I am 47 yrs old.

How is your sharp lower abdominal pain?
Is it still there?

Do you have any associated fever - feeling not and cold?

How is your appetite? Is there any change in your bowel habit or bloating?

What about passing urine? Are you passing urine often that usual?

Is there any unusual discharge from your front page? Any pain pain during intercourse?

Ch, if the pain is still there, I would advise you see your doctor to examine you to exclude:

• Appendicitis
  
• Urinary tract or bladder infection
  
• Pelvic inflammatory disease
  
• Ovarian cyst
  
• Diverticulitis
  
• Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  
• Muscle sprain.
