Upper right side dull pain halfway between middle chest and side

About a year and a half my liver enzymes came back a bit high so was told to have an ultrasound. They found what they called a fatty liver and I was to keep an eye on it. During that time I have had several blood tests that have came back with no high levels. one as recently as 2 weeks ago.
On occasion and not every day I experience a dull ache on my upper left side right at the rib level. If you took a line and drew right down the middle of me this pain starts about an inch from the middle and extends about 2-3 inches out to the side.
I am a 58 year old women with high blood pressure and take thyroid and cholesterol medication.
